The challenge
Southland had their WordPress site built by freelancers from overseas. The developers filled the site with content, set everything up — and disappeared. What they left behind was a mess: plugin conflicts created viruses that generated thousands of junk files, the hosting provider threatened to shut them down, contact forms didn't work, and publishing new content threw errors. The site was essentially broken.
